Rushden & District Photographic Society

Welcome to the Rushden & District Photographic Society's website. This site is for members, potential members, photographers who enter our national exhibition (The Rushden Open) and anyone else who has an interest in what we do.

We try to provide a varied programme to suit all kinds of photographer. Less experienced photographers are very welcome to join RDPS. There are no requirements to have any particular camera, or indeed any camera at all, and you need not know your f-stop from your elbow. We are very happy to offer coaching and advice, on an informal basis, to anyone and help you progress with your photography.

For miscellaneous remarks, pictures, etc. we have a Facebook group, so please feel free to post anything you want to say there (see menu for a link).

The 2013 Rushden Open Photographic Exhibition is now available for on-line viewing. Please select 'Rushden Open Exhibition' from the menu.

During the summer (18th June) we will have the RDPS barbeque, courtesy of Peter and Angela Davis, at their house. More details.

We have a new competition this year, called 'Points of View'.
Mike Quickenden and Tony Joyce are organising it, and rules can be found under 'Competitions / List of Competitions'.
